The continuous operation of power generation equipment is of the utmost importance to power plant owners / Maintenance / Distributors and to support this, PTA offer preventive maintenance testing services.


An inspection at regular intervals, over the life of equipment, assesses and monitors the performance enabling minor problems to be addressed before serious failure occurs. The philosophy that “prevention is better than cure” proactively reduces costs associated with unplanned outages as a result of equipment failure.


PtA offers Predictive maintenance (PdM) tests which involve monitoring of power equipment over time for conditions that indicate impending failure, determining whether corrective action is required; if necessary, taking that action before the equipment fails. The goal is to avoid unplanned downtime and schedule repairs. PtA engineers identify critical equipment, determine how often they need to be monitored, set up an inspection route and schedule, and regularly measure key indicators.
