Powertest Asia was established in 1995 by Mr. N.V. Satyanarayana, as a Managing
Director of the company. Since the company’s inception, Powertest Asia has been
providing testing services worldwide to Original Equipment Manufactures (OEMs) of
Power equipment, Utilities, and Service Providers in Power & Industry sectors. As
an independent testing organization, PtA can assist the customer in identifying
the real condition of the machine and the true nature of repair & maintenance requirements
and engineering their solutions. Powertest Asia is not allied with any manufacturer
or repair work shop and prides itself on delivering only the true facts to its customers.
Powertest Asia is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Company and provides total Diagnostic
Testing Services on Electrical Power Equipment and Turbines.

Powertest Asia is headquartered in Hyderabad, India but supports clients all over
the world. In addition to India, Middle East and South & East Asia, PtA executed
projects in Africa and South America.

NV Satyanarayana, Managing Director
Powertest Asia was promoted
by Mr. N. V. Satyanarayana as a Managing Director in the year 1995.
He is a Post Graduate in Electrical Engineering, Member of Institution of Engineers
of India and Chartered Engineer, International Associate Member of International
Electrical Testing Association (NETA) – USA. He has 44 years of experience in power
equipment of different OEMs around the world, of which 31 years of experience in
the manufacturing units and Corporate R & D units of BHEL. His experience covers
testing and development, Quality Control, Failure Analysis in the field of Electrical
Engineering.

In BHEL he had taken a leading role in Residual Life Assessment and Extension
studies on Electrical Power Equipment. Responsible for execution of Diagnostic tests
/ Life Assessment studies on number of High Voltage Generators, Motors, and Cables
in Thermal, Hydro, Nuclear Power Stations and Processing Industries. He has also
worked as a Faculty Member in the area of Diagnostic tests / RLA studies on Electrical
Power Equipment for the training programmes and work shops conducted by BHEL, Engineering
Staff College, NTPC and other Organizations. Traveled extensively worldwide including
European and Northern American countries on technical assignments.

Sasant Nuthakki, Executive Director
Graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from West Virginia University,
USA. His previous experience includes working with M/s. ADWEL International Ltd.,
Canada on ADWEL Products and Engineering Services (ELCID, PDA, WTD etc.) and is
an ADWEL Certified Expert Training in Electromagnetic Core Imperfection Detection
using the ADWEL Digital ELCID and ELAN Software. Since Adwel, he has been working
with Powertest Asia as Executive Director. His experience includes testing of High
Voltage Electrical machines of rating up to 500 MW of different OEMs; Installation
and Commissioning of Partial Discharge Analysis systems. His work assignments have
taken him to Northern America, Europe, South, West, & East Asian countries on technical
assignments.
